Gemma Andrews
Gemma is a highly experienced podiatrist with more than 22 years of clinical experience. She is known for her thorough, analytical approach and warm, approachable manner.
She began her career within the NHS, working across both community and hospital settings, where she developed extensive expertise in diabetes care, wound management, and complex lower limb conditions. She later completed a Master’s degree in Biomechanics, further strengthening her specialist knowledge of movement related conditions and injury management.
Gemma has a particular interest in treating Achilles tendon injuries, ankle injuries, and long standing biomechanical issues affecting the feet, knees, and hips. She is passionate about identifying the root cause of pain and dysfunction, helping patients achieve lasting improvements rather than temporary relief.
Patients value Gemma’s clear and practical explanations, as well as her commitment to ensuring they fully understand their condition and treatment options. Her goal is to help every patient feel confident, reassured, and supported throughout their treatment journey.
Outside of the clinic, Gemma enjoys painting, reading, walking, and supporting her partner’s rugby team.
