New Vacancy: Receptionist and Clinical Administrator

We are looking for a full time Patient Care Team Member to join our team at Active Step Foot & Ankle Clinic in Segensworth, Fareham.

You’re experienced at growing and developing customer relationships and are proficient in learning and using a range of IT applications. You’re quick to learn and enjoy variety in your workload and are good at multitasking and time management. You’re conscientious and passionate about working in a client focused business. You’re a friendly and welcoming face for our patients when they arrive at the practice or call with an enquiry. You’re able to guide our patients towards the most appropriate services by keeping yourself fully up-to-speed with Active Step’s range of specialist podiatry appointments and treatments.

You’re attentive and always focused on the patients’ needs. You can deal with everything that’s thrown at you as you love a challenge and remain calm and in control in a crisis. Your personality is infectious and along with your team, you create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the practice.

You will have a keen interest in social media and marketing activities and training will be provided in this area. You will be comfortable in navigating Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn platforms. Your focus is to provide exceptional service and the best care possible to our patients – providing an important link between them and the clinical team. Your ability to build strong relationships with our patients and the practice team is critical to your success.

You’ll greet each client and offer support, guidance and expertise, managing payments and future bookings confidently. Coordinating the smooth running of the day-to-day routines of the practice will be done using our patient booking system and online operations platform, so computer literacy is an absolute must.

Other daily responsibilities include:

  • Managing high volume of incoming/outgoing calls and e-mails
  • Billing and maintaining patient records
  • Writing referrals letters and patients summaries
  • Managing stock control and placing orders
  • Contributing towards marketing content

Additional weekly responsibilities:

  • Creating posts for social media
  • Creating a social media plan for Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Scheduling social media posts
  • Coordinating marketing collateral e.g. printed leaflets, business cards, posters and banners.
  • Responding to google reviews and comments on social media.

This role will also involve a level of financial responsibilities including monthly auditing of supplier invoices, managing travel, accommodation and expenses bookings, and reconciling petty cash.

Hours: 4-day week for a total 37.5 hours

  • Monday 8.00 – 17.00 (30 min lunch)
  • Tuesday 8.00 – 20.00 (60 min lunch)
  • Wednesday 9.00 – 18.00 (30 min lunch)
  • Thursday 8.00 – 18.00 (30 min lunch)

Salary: £10.00-£12.00 per hour / £19,500.00-£23,400.00 per year
